Terms and Conditions and Other Important Notes:

  1. To qualify for the promotional offers, applicant must register as a Loyalty Club member via the insurance services webpage of The Bank of East Asia, Limited (“BEA”) and submit application for an e-Select Pet Insurance plan through the same webpage between 15th July and 31st December, 2019, both dates inclusive, and the relevant policy must be successfully issued by Blue Cross (Asia-Pacific) Insurance Limited (“Blue Cross”).
  2. To qualify for the “Exclusive Discount”, either the applicant should hold a valid identity document or the insured pet should carry a valid AVID of which the identity document number or AVID number contains both digits “5” and “0”. Examples of the eligible identity document number are “A011111 (5)” and “B543210 (6)”). Numbers in bracket of the identity document are counted. 
  3. Loyalty Club member will immediately receive the standard amount of e-Dollars upon successful enrolment. BEA reserves the right to retrieve any credited e-Dollars if the Loyalty Club member cancels the e-Select Pet Insurance policy prior to the policy expiry date.

  5. These promotional offers cannot be enjoyed in conjunction with any other promotional or discount offers for the same insurance product, unless otherwise specified.

In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between BEA and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, BEA is required to enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however, any dispute over the contractual terms of the product should be resolved between Blue Cross and the customer directly.
