Terms and Conditions for Faster Payment System service ("FPS")
5th Anniversary Marketing Campaign 2023
  1. General Terms and Conditions
    1. The offer is only eligible to Corporate Customer ("Customer") of The Bank of East Asia Limited.
    2. The campaign period is from 1st Oct 2023 to 31st Dec 2023 (both dates inclusive) ("Promotion Period"). The bank reserves the right to modify the campaign period at any time without prior notice.
    3. By participating in the campaign, the Customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    4. The Bank reserves the sole right to vary or cancel this promotional programme and/or amend or alter the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
    5. No person other than the Customer or the Bank will have any right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623 of the Laws of Hong Kong) to enforce or enjoy the benefit of any of the provisions of these terms and conditions.
    6. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed under the law of Hong Kong.
    7. If there is any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall apply and prevail.
  2. Reward 1 - FPS Payment Transaction Fee Waive Offer
    1. This offer is only applicable to the basic handling fee of FPS Payment transaction successfully conducted through Corporate Cyberbanking ("CCB").
    2. This offer is only applicable to FPS payment transaction executed during Promotion Period. Any scheduled FPS transaction to be executed after the Promotion Period cannot enjoy the fee waiver.

  3. Reward 2 - Lucky Draw Promotion -- FPS Payment
    1. Eligible Participant (the "Eligible Participant") is required to fulfill all the following requirements:-
      1. Customer who did not conduct FPS payment through CCB during 1st Oct 2022 to 30th Sep 2023 and
      2. Conduct at least 5 FPS payment transactions per month for 3 consecutive months through CCB during promotion period.
    2. Each Eligible Participant is entitled to only one lucky draw chance to win lucky draw prizes.
    3. Lucky draw winners will be drawn randomly by computer after Promotion Period. A total of 5 prizes will be given out to 5 winners. Each winner will receive an amount of HK$5,000 Apple Store Gift Card (the "Prize").
    4. Winners will be notified individually by correspondence through mail (the "Redemption Letter") which will be sent on or before 31st March 2024 to each winner's correspondence address according to our record at the time of fulfilment. Winners must maintain their up-to-date and valid correspondence address record.
    5. The Winner must maintain a valid transactional account with the Bank at the time the Redemption Letter is sent.
    6. Each winner who receives the Redemption Letter is required to redeem the Prize according to the instructions stated in the Redemption Letter, otherwise the prize will be deemed to be forfeited.
    7. The Redemption Letter is not replaceable in the event of any loss or damage by the winners. We assume no liability and will not offer any compensation in respect of any failure to receive the Redemption Letter by the winners.
    8. The Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or other products.
    9. If the Prize runs out of stock, BEA reserves the right to substitute that Prize with another action without prior notice.
    10. BEA is not the supplier of the Prizes and makes no representation or guarantee as to the quality and availability of the prizes provided by the suppliers. BEA shall not be liable for any matters arising from or in connection with the prizes provided by the suppliers. Prize winners should direct any queries or complaints to the relevant suppliers.
  4. Reward 3 - Lucky Draw Promotion -- FPS Addressing and Collection
    1. Eligible Participant (the "Eligible Participant") is required to fulfill all the following requirements:-
      1. Corporate Customer who has registered/newly registers FPS addressing and set BEA as a default collection bank and
      2. Receive at least 3 inward FPS transfers during promotion period.
    2. Each Eligible participant is entitled to only one lucky draw chance to win lucky draw prizes.
    3. Lucky draw winners will be drawn randomly by computer after Promotion Period. A total of 5 prizes will be given out to 5 winners. Each winner will receive an amount of HK$5,000 Apple Store Gift Card (the "Prize").
