¹ As with the transaction eligibility of the basic Bonus Points, no Bonus Points will be offered for transactions involving: cash advances, statement instalment amounts, "Cash in Hand" amounts, balance transfer amounts, selected online bill payments (including but not limited to Banking & Credit Card Services, Credit Services, Securities Trading, Tax Payment, Education, and Insurance) via Cyberbanking, including internet, phone, ATM and mobile phone channels, casino chips, finance charges, late charges, annual fees, speculation commerce, or any other fees or charges as determined from time to time and notified to cardholders by The Bank of East Asia, Limited ("BEA").

² Spending at all dining outlets in Hong Kong does not include transactions for private parties/functions, or private room events other than those held in hotels/restaurants/dining outlets, or transactions made at dining outlets in department stores/associations/clubhouses.

³ Transaction eligibility shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of BEA according to the merchant codes issued by MasterCard Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited.

Important Notes:

1. The principal cardholder's selection will also apply to supplementary cardholders.

2. If you register for the BEA Mileage Reward, Bonus Points earned cannot be redeemed for cash coupons/movie vouchers/gift items in the Bonus Gallery. If you enrolled for the BEA Dining Reward, Bonus Points earned cannot be converted to Asia Miles. Each request to enrol for the BEA Mileage Reward thereafter will incur a handling charge of HK$1,800 per principal card.

Remarks:

The 48,000 Bonus Points (equivalent to 6,000 miles) includes 14,400 Bonus Points (equivalent to 1,800 miles) from the BEA Mileage Reward. A welcome offer of 33,600 Bonus Points (equivalent to 4,200 miles) will be credited to the principal cardholder's account 15 working days after the cardholder has fulfilled the spending requirement.
New auto-payroll customers will enjoy 2X Bonus Points (including 1.6X Bonus Points from the BEA Mileage Reward) on the first HK$30,000 of eligible spending in any one month during the first 12 calendar months from the date of card issuance, i.e. a monthly maximum of 12,000 extra Bonus Points (equivalent to 1,500 miles). Thereafter, customers can still earn unlimited 1.6X Bonus Points for eligible spending under the BEA Mileage Reward.
Other customers will enjoy 2X Bonus Points (including 1.6X Bonus Points from the BEA Mileage Reward) for eligible spending totalling HK$15,001 to HK$30,000 in any one month during the first 12 calendar months from the date of card issuance, i.e. a monthly maximum of 6,000 extra Bonus Points (equivalent to 750 miles). Thereafter, customers can still earn unlimited 1.6X Bonus Points for eligible spending under the BEA Mileage Reward.
The monthly extra 0.4X Bonus Points from the Special Mileage Reward will be credited to the principal cardholder's account within the next 2 calendar months, and will appear on the related statement.
The first calendar month will be counted from the card issuance date till the end of the following calendar month. For example, if 16th March, 2016 is the card issuance date, the first calendar month will be counted from 16th March to 30th April, 2016, while the first 12 calendar months from the date of card issuance will be counted from 16th March, 2016 to 31st March, 2017. Assuming the customer becomes an eligible new auto-payroll customer on 15th June, 2016, the customer will enjoy 2X Bonus Points monthly (including 1.6X Bonus Points from the BEA Mileage Reward) on the first HK$30,000 of eligible spending from 1st June, 2016 to 31st March, 2017.
As with the eligibility of the basic Bonus Points, no Bonus Points will be offered for transactions involving: cash advances, statement instalment amounts, "Cash in Hand" amounts, balance transfer amounts, selected online bill payments (including but not limited to banking & credit card services, credit services, securities trading, tax payment, education, and insurance) via Cyberbanking including internet, phone, automated teller machine ("ATM"), and mobile phone channels, casino chips, finance charges, late charges, annual fees, speculation commerce, or any other fees or charges as determined from time to time and notified to cardholders by The Bank of East Asia, Limited ("BEA").

All eligible spending will entitle the cardholder to unlimited 1.6X Bonus Points, which includes the basic 1X Bonus Points. In other words, every HK$5 spent will earn 8 Bonus Points (equivalent to 1 mile). The monthly extra 0.6X Bonus Points will be credited to the principal cardholder's account between the 8th and 15th of the next month, and will appear on the related statement.
All cardholders can enjoy an annual fee waiver for the first year. Principal cardholders who maintain a valid designated BEA account (designated accounts include all deposit, mortgage loan, consumer loan, and MPF accounts) can enjoy a perpetual annual fee waiver.
An annual fee waiver for the following year will be granted to the cardholder whose annual retail spending or cash advance reaches HK$60,000.
