Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Investment Officer

Mr. Li, aged 65, joined the Bank in 1987 as Chief Internal Auditor.  He was promoted to his current position of Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Investment Officer in April 2009.  Mr. Li is primarily responsible for the Bank’s investment activities and treasury operations.  He is also a Director of various members of the Bank Group and a Member of various committees appointed by the Board.

Mr. Li is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute and the Chartered Governance Institute. In addition, he is a Member of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute. Mr. Li holds a Professional Diploma in Accountancy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
