You can make telegraphic transfer to other overseas banks and direct remittance to BEA China / BEA UK through BEA Online within your daily transaction limit1.

Telegraphic Transfer to Other Overseas Banks

  1. Log in to BEA Online
    Select Payments > Remittance
  2. Tick the terms and acknowledgement
    Select/enter the transaction and beneficiary details2,3
  3. Use “Search Bank ” to easily find the beneficiary/intermediary bank
    Save a new template (optional)
    Select “Proceed” to continue4
  4. Enter the One-time Password (OTP) sent to you and “Confirm
    Verify the transaction details
    Select “Confirm” to continue
  5. Your telegraphic transfer instruction is accepted

Direct Remittance to BEA China / BEA UK

  1. Log in to BEA Online
    Select Transfers > BEA
  2. Select BEA China or BEA UK
    Select/enter the transaction details
    Select “Proceed4 to continue
  3. Enter the One-time Password (OTP) sent to you and “Confirm
    Verify the transaction details.
    Select “Confirm” to continue
  4. Your transaction is completed
Remarks:
1. To enable telegraphic transfers & direct remittances, please visit any BEA branch in person during business hours to activate “Fund Transfer to Non-registered Account” and “High-risk merchant payments” settings. You may view the daily transaction limit here.
2. The minimum transaction amount when transferring funds overseas is HK$1,000, JPY10,000, or 100 in any other available currency.
3. To ensure timely and accurate delivery, applicant should ensure all beneficiary and account details are accurate to avoid unnecessary delay.
4. The Bank Selling Rate for currency exchange (if any) is shown on the next page.
5. Telegraphic Transfer Status
Received: The Bank has received your instruction.
Confirmed: The Bank has processed your instruction.
Rejected: The Bank has rejected your instruction.
