BEA Online – Registration of the FPS Addressing Service

You can receive money from anyone by privately sharing with them your mobile number, email address, FPS ID and/or HKID1. To use this service, you must first register for the FPS Addressing Service in BEA Online or BEA Mobile.

FPS Registration in BEA Online

  1. • Log in to BEA Online
    • Select “Settings” > “FPS Registration”
  2. • Select the proxy ID(s): “Mobile no.”, “Email address”, “FPS ID” and/or “HKID no.” you wish to register
    • Enter your details
    • Set BEA as your Default Bank2
    • Select “Proceed”
  3. • Enter the One-time Password (OTP) sent to your “Mobile no.” and/or “Email address” for registration3,4
    • Select “Proceed”
  4. • Review your FPS Addressing Service summary5
    • Select “Proceed”
  5. • Verify the details
    • Select “Confirm” to complete the FPS Addressing registration
Remarks:
1. HKID no. for FPS addressing is only applicable to receive funds from the HKSAR government and institutions.
2. Set BEA as your Default Bank for the “Mobile no.” and “Email address” proxy ID(s) for easier receiving of payments.
3. If you’re registering for both “Mobile no.” and “Email address” proxy IDs in this step, enter the correct OTP for “Mobile no.” before the one for “Email address”.
4. SMS messages for OTP cannot be forwarded to any other phone number, even if you have enabled an “SMS Forwarding” service.
5. Setting your BEA account(s) as Default here will overwrite previous default deposit bank settings. Also, choosing “Terminate” here will delete previous records.
