BEA Mobile – Time Deposit

  1. • Log in BEA Mobile
    • Select “Menu” > “Account Services” > “Time Deposits”
    • Select a currency and the eligible new fund quota of the selected currency will be displayed
    • Enter the principal amount and then select "Search" to view the time deposit interest rates
    • Select the available time deposit plan based on the principal you have entered and the eligible new fund quota in your account
    • You may also select coupon code under “Exclusive Offer” to select time deposit plan (if applicable)
  2. • The annual interest rate and expected interest of time deposit will be displayed automatically
    • Select withdrawal account
    • Select Maturity Instruction (Uplift / Renew), select “Next” afterwards
  3. • Verify the transaction information entered (e.g. principal, withdrawal account, maturity instruction), select “Confirm”
    • Your time deposit has been placed
    • Select “Go To Time Deposit”
    > “My Time Deposit” to view the information of all time deposits under the selected account
    Remarks:
    For time deposit instructions submitted after service hours, please confirm your instructions on the next working day1

  1. • Log in BEA Mobile
    • Select “Menu” > “Account Services” > “Time Deposits”
    • Select “My Time Deposit”
    • Select “Confirm”
  2. • Verify the information and select “Confirm”
    • Your time deposit has been placed
Remarks:
1. Hong Kong Dollar Time Deposit
You can place a time deposit during service hours; or place an instruction after service hours and confirm it during service hours on the next working day. (Service hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Hong Kong time)*
Foreign Currency Time Deposit
You can place time deposit during service hours. (Service hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Hong Kong time)*
*Except for Hong Kong public holidays or when Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above and Black Rainstorm Warning are hoisted.
