BEA App – Time Deposit

Enjoy preferential interest rate by placing a Time Deposit through the BEA App.

  1. • Log in to the BEA App
    • Select “Account Services” > “Time Deposit”
    • Select “% View Rate” to view the latest interest rates
    • Select “Place Time Deposit”
  2. • Enter principal amount, coupon code (if applicable) and transaction details
    • “Select “Next”
  3. • Verify details and select “Confirm”
    • Your time deposit is placed
    Note:
    • If submitted after service hours, please confirm your time deposit instruction during next working day1

  1. • Log in to BEA App
    • Go to “Account Services” > “Time Deposit”
    • Select “Confirm Instruction”1
  2. • Verify details and select “Confirm”
    • Your time deposit is placed
Remarks:
1. Hong Kong Dollar Time Deposit
Place a time deposit during service hours, or set up an instruction after service hours and then confirm your time deposit during the next working day within service hours. (Mon - Sat, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. HKT)*
Foreign Currency Time Deposit
Place time deposit during service hours. (Mon - Fri, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. HKT)*
*Except Hong Kong Public Holiday, or when Typhoon No.8 Signal or above and Black Rainstorm warning is hoisted.
