  1. • Log in BEA Mobile
    • Select “Menu” > “Account Services” > “Time Deposits”
    • Select “%” to view time deposit interest rates
    • Select “Place Time Deposit”
  2. • Enter principal amount, coupon code (if applicable) and transaction details
    • “Select “Next”
  3. • Verify the information and select “Confirm”
    • Your time deposit has been placed

    • For time deposit instructions submitted after service hours, please confirm your instructions on the next working day1

1. Hong Kong Dollar Time Deposit
You can place a time deposit during service hours; or place an instruction after service hours and confirm it during service hours on the next working day. (Service hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Hong Kong time)*
Foreign Currency Time Deposit
You can place time deposit during service hours. (Service hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Hong Kong time)*
*Except for Hong Kong public holidays or when Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above and Black Rainstorm Warning are hoisted.
