Cyberbanking and the BEA App –
Currency exchange

Exchanging currencies has never been an easier process through Cyberbanking and the BEA App anytime anywhere.

Currency exchange in Cyberbanking

  1. • Log in to Cyberbanking
    • Select Accounts > Transfers
  2. • Enter transaction details1
    • Select “Proceed” to continue
    Notes:
    • Ensure different currencies are selected for the Withdrawal (From) and Deposit (To) accounts, and the Transaction Amount currency is of either.
    • The Bank Selling Rate is shown on the next page.
  3. • Verify the details
    • Select “Confirm” to complete the transaction

Currency exchange in the BEA App

 
  1. • Log in to the BEA App
    • Select Transfers & Payment > Currency Exchange
  2. • Enter transaction details1
    • Select “Next” to continue
    Notes:
    • Ensure different currencies are selected for the From (Withdrawal) and To (Deposit) accounts, and the Transaction Amount currency is of either.
    • The Bank Selling Rate is shown on the next page.
  3. • Verify the details
    • Select “Confirm” to complete the transaction
Remarks:
1. The minimum foreign currency exchange amount is HK$20 or equivalent.
