Please complete the "Member - Participation Agreement (Special Voluntary Contribution Account)" to open your account.
May I make additional lump sum contribution at anytime?
Yes. You may make additional lump sum contribution at anytime after setting up the SVC account. Simply complete the "Member - Irregular Contribution Form" and send it to us with cheque.
How can I terminate or change the Special Voluntary Contribution Account?
You can terminate or change your SVC at anytime. You can complete the "Member - Termination Notice" for termination and "Member - Change of Details" for change of personal details.
May I withdraw the benefits under the Special Voluntary Contribution Account at anytime?
Yes. You can withdraw the benefits no less than HKD5,000 at anytime. All benefits has to be withdrawn if the account is less than HKD5,000. There is no handling charge.
How can I withdraw the benefits from the Special Voluntary Contribution Account?
You can simply complete the "Member - Partial Withdrawal Form".
May I make contribution by direct debit from other banks?
No. You can only make contribution through direct debit from BEA.
May I make contribution by cash?
No. You can only make contribution by cheque, direct debit or through Cyberbanking^.
^ SVC clients should hold a BEA personal savings or current account and open a Cyberbanking account at any BEA branch to make payment for SVC.
May I open the Special Voluntary Contribution Account under BEA even though I don't have any account under BEA (MPF) scheme?
Yes. You can complete the "Member - Participation Agreement (Special Voluntary Contribution Account)" to open your account.
