Management Trainee
 
 

This programme aims to groom talented graduates to become future leaders of the Bank and major contributors of the Bank's business endeavours.

During the two-year programme, trainees will gain in-depth knowledge of the banking and financial fields through extensive training and job rotation among BEA's core functional units. These units include Personal Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Treasury, Risk Management, and the Bank's China & International networks.

Upon completion of the programme, trainees who have demonstrated strong potential and met management benchmarks will be advanced to executive positions.

  Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Honours bachelor's degree or above from a reputable university (local or overseas) and no more than 2 years' working experience

Minimum of 5 years' banking experience, of which at least 3 years were gained at the supervisory level in trade services

Mature, independent, and detail-oriented

Strong analytical skills and a good team player
Sound knowledge of UCP, URR, URC, URDG, ISP98, ISBP, URCB, SWIFT, Incoterms, etc.
 IT literacy and good project management skills
 Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
 Willing to work irregular hours if required

Training Manager (Ref: TDD-TM)
 
  Responsibilities:

To plan, design, and deliver courses on Wealth Management, Sales and Service / Management Training and other appropriate topics

To undertake and manage value-added training projects

To assist in assessing training needs, identifying training opportunities, and implementing the annual training plan

  To coordinate with external consultants to deliver training initiatives
  Occasional travel to the Mainland is required
  Requirements:
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline

Minimum of 5 years' experience in banking industry, or training experience in related business

Analytical, independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Sound communication and presentation skills

Able to work under pressure

  Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua

To participate in Treasury Market Division projects and system enhancements
To prepare MIS reports for treasury products
To handle ad hoc assignments when required

Knowledge of financial instruments and treasury-related regulatory requirements

Self-motivated, accountable, able to multi-task and work under pressure 

Good knowledge of MS Office
